Young Collectors Contemporary is produced by Young Arts Patrons to serve as a hub for artists and contemporary art enthusiasts to exchange ideas and collect works from emerging contemporary artists. Part exhibition, part party, and part contemporary arts conference the event is for everyone including emerging artists, collectors, thought leaders, disrupters, change makers, and the entire arts community.

I will discuss my personal story and the history of Project Backboard, the non-profit I started in Memphis to renovate and install large scale works of unique art across public outdoor basketball courts, in order to encourage others to think about how they can make thier practice, whether they are collectors, creators or curators,more social as a way to add value to thier own work and potentially inspire others.
